A true gem on the Island of Santorini
Spiti Barbara is a true gem. The view is breath-taking and the apartment is nicely equipped. Everything is accessible within minutes, but what sets it apart are the hosts who will assist you with everything. Beginning from transfer to day-trip-suggestions, they are a blessing. Traumhafte Aussicht
Wir wurden seit dem Tag der Buchung unglaublich interessiert und sehr nett betreut von den Hausbesitzern. Sie haben auf jegliche Rückfragen sofort geantwortet und konnten jede Frage zufriedenstellend klären. Alles lief unkompliziert. Das Haus ist wunderschön; die Lage einfach perfekt und die Aussicht wie ein Traum- unvorstellbar und besser als auf den Fotos. Die Vorbereitungen im Haus (alles beschriftet, ein Buch mit gesammelten Vorschlägen sei es Restaurants, Bars, Strände) waren sehr hilfreich. Der Weg zum Zentrum wo auch die Bushaltestelle sich befindet, dauert etwa 20 min wenn man langsam geht. Sehr zentrale Lage und dennoch mit der perfektesten Aussicht. Wenn wir nochmal nach Santorini kommen, dann sicher wieder Spiti Barbara :) die Betreuung durch Annette unsere Vermieterin und ihrem Mann Chris ist genau so wie man es sich vorstellt. One of a kind rental!
My husband and I decided to visit Santorini for our babymoon. We are so happy that of all the places to stay we choose Spiti Barbara. Our cousins and their 8 month old joined us and we had a wonderful week together. Photos cannot do this home and it’s location justice. We loved having the separate quarters as it gave privacy and convenience to both couples when needed and yet allowed us to come together for meals and hangouts either in the dining room, courtyard or one of the two scenic balconies. The space is clean and stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. There were times when we didn’t even want to leave as you won’t find a better view to watch the sunrise or sunset. We loved spending our evenings in the rooftop jacuzzi watching the peaceful sunset. The days were bustling and busy but the evenings were quiet and we all enjoyed good sleep and blissful relaxation. In the mornings I loved being able to just walk up the step to the market for my coffee and fresh fruit. Thira is a quick and easy 10 min walk (and I was 6.5 month pregnant!). We rented vehicles but found we didn’t really need them as everything was so close. Marina, the property manager was super helpful to us throughout our stay. She suggested and then booked for us two visits to the Lioyerma pool in Oia. We went twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time. And they treated us so well there! She also booked our catamaran tour of the islands and it was awesome! And then she would check on us periodically and it just made everything stress free having her so readily available. Our favourite restaurant was Volkan. It was just up the steps and then about a 5 min walk to the right. They had just started showing open air movies (hopefully they still are) as it was awesome! We enjoyed watching Mama Mia while dining on delicious tapas. All in all our stay was truly wonderful. You will not find a cave home like this anywhere that hasn’t been converted into a hotel. Beautiful house with magnificent views of the Caldera
Anette’s house - “spiti” in Greek - is a unique place with unparalleled views of the Caldera. The place is very comfortable, easily accessible by all means of transportation, right in the heart of Firostefani - between Fira and Imerovigli. The hosts were very responsive taking care of all our needs and very thoughtful - they even welcomed us with a bottle of local Santorini wine! Marina, the hosts’ representative, who made arrangements for our transportation from the airport and met us at Anette’s place was very professional and extremely helpful laying out every single piece of information regarding the island and what’s worth seeing and doing within the 5 days of our staying. In summarizing, I would strongly recommend Annette’s place and the super-hosts Kris and Annette to anybody who wants to have a memorable experience of Santorini and I know for sure that I will definitely come back!

Lovely views and great location
Spiti Barbera is an excellent choice with two terraces and a cool courtyard. It is well equipped and comfortable. The views are stunning - just as good as Its at a fifth the price. Booking was straight forward with every care taken to meet our requirement for a feather-free house because of my daughter's allergy. Excellent villa to rent. Very private Views are heavenly!

A holiday gem
A great cave house with history, but plenty of room to move and make yourself at home and comfortable. The walled courtyard is unique and adds to the charm. The views from the terrace are spectacular. Very adequate living room and well equipped kitchen. The house is very close to the shops and restaurants of Firostefani, and less than 10 minutes walking ( downhill ) to the main centre of Fira, and return ( uphill ) by a very regular local bus......easy trip. Very nice house in the heart of Firostefani
The view from the terrace is simply awesome, especially at sundown with a glass of wine. It`s a pure "romance"! Although you are staying in the middle of hundred little balconies, you still have enough privacy because of the inner courtyard which is covered by a olive tree. The rooms have enough space to make your self a home. Even Santorini is not the cheapest vacation resort, the prices for the whole house are more than reasonable. Within ten minutes on foot, you reach the center of Fira (the capital of Santorini) with it`s nice little Shops, Bars and Restaurants. The place to stay in Santorini great rental
This place offers a great value for the price and it is very spacious compared to other rentals around. The very nice courtyard made the difference we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner. The place has very nice energy and we had our best time in Greece. If you like Santorini and want to have your privacy that’s the place to go.
